Entries will be invited from those candidates who, have been working in the construction industry for less than 5 years and have made an outstanding achievement and positive impact within the sector in which they work.
This category is open to industry newcomers from a wide variety of backgrounds. Whether the candidates are based in office or on site, working in contracting or consultancy practice, judges will be looking for those who are already making an outstanding achievement in their specialised areas and also are committed to continuing their professional development. Evidence of achievement can be projects or initiatives that are still ongoing, as well as those that have been recently completed, but you will need to demonstrate continuous improvement and effects on the team, organisation or practice.
You’ll need to provide evidence for the following areas:
- Procurement and supply chain management
- Building standards management
- Design management
- Facilities management
- Health & safety management
- People management
- Conservation & adaptation management
- Business management
