Health & Safety Management
Entries will soon be invited from practitioners who can demonstrate best practice and outstanding achievement in the delivery of health & safety in the built environment.
Whether your initiative focuses on behaviour, design, occupational health or strategic development, judges will be looking for an innovative approach and inspired leadership. Entries may be drawn from all areas and phases of the construction life cycle including operation and decommissioning. Evidence of achievement can be projects or initiatives that are still ongoing, as well as those that have been recently completed, but you will need to demonstrate continuous improvement and long-term effects on the team, organisation or practice.
Evidence you should be able to prove in your application includes:
- Health & safety strategy deployment
- Behavioural safety
- Accident reduction
- Workforce engagement
- Competency and skills
- Workspace organisation
- Hazcon and Hazop interaction
- Safety in design
- Occupational health
- Health & safety training
This list is not exhaustive and evidence can be drawn from any element of strategic, tactical or operational health & safety management practice that demonstrates best practice and outstanding achievement.
