Entries for IOAA will be invited from practitioners working in the field of facilities management who can demonstrate best practice and outstanding achievement in the delivery of facilities management or operational services.
You could be working at any stage of the life cycle of projects, including planning, design, commissioning, operation, maintenance or decommissioning. Your expertise may lie in new build projects or in refurbishments. Whatever your specialisations, judges will be looking for strategic and inspired thinking and advanced management skills. Evidence of achievement can be projects or initiatives that are still ongoing, as well as those that have been recently completed, but you will need to demonstrate continuous improvement and long-term effects on the team, organisation or practice.
You’ll need to provide evidence for the following areas:
- Strategy development
- Services delivery
- Procurement and contracting
- Project management
- Soft landings development
- Building information management
- Team and/or partnership working
- Training development
